Vault Cross Search is local utility software provided under the MIT License. You remain responsible for your vault files, backups, master credentials, and choice of associated password application.

License purchase

The free edition searches up to two vaults. A one-time purchase unlocks unlimited vaults for the licensed user. Accessibility, session locking, and privacy protections are never paid features. Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles payment and refunds. A refund or chargeback revokes the license.

No custody

We do not receive, store, recover, or synchronize your vault contents. We cannot recover a lost master password or repair a damaged database. Keep tested backups.

Security status

Version 0.1 is an early release and is not yet independently audited. It should not be treated as a replacement for your password manager. Report vulnerabilities privately to security@sociobot.in.

Warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software.
