Vault Cross Search is designed not to collect your data. The desktop app does not include analytics, telemetry, advertising, or crash reporting.

Local vault processing

Vault files and unlock credentials are processed locally on your device. The app indexes only entry title, username, URL, and group path in process memory. It does not index passwords, notes, attachments, or custom protected fields. The index is cleared when you lock, quit, or reach the inactivity timeout.

License verification

If you buy or restore a license, the app sends the license token to the Sociobot billing API to verify that it is active. The verification result and time are stored locally. Payment is handled by Sociobot and Dodo as merchant of record; their own privacy terms apply to checkout.

Website

The website loads no third-party scripts, fonts, trackers, or advertising. Standard server access logs may contain your IP address and user agent for short-term security and reliability operations.

Your control

Use “Lock all” to clear the current index. Remove the locally stored license in your operating system’s webview data if you no longer want it remembered. Questions: privacy@sociobot.in.
